2 years back when I considered of running web hosting business, reseller hosting was one of the options in this regards. I was reluctant to take on reseller hosting as I would be sort of defendant. Yet seeing the price structure and resources offered by 247-host.com, I decided to get along with them. I think I took a right decision. Reseller hosting is such easy with 247-host.com that I actually have to concentrate only on marketing. 247-Host take care of all technical and server related issues. Their response time is less than 4 hours in most cases and server up time is great. The technician are well aware of linux hosting and I do not remember a support issue of my customer lingering. Working with such professional team is a real pleasure. Now that I have adequate customer to switch to dedicated server, I still prefer to continue with reseller hosting due to low cost yet efficient services of 247-host.com. Surely I do not hesitate in recommending them.

Wow! only one person has anything good to report (Muneer I believe). I had my suspicions about this company from the beginning; however, I was a newbie webmaster and I was too naive to trust my gut instincts. My first clue was during my initial price review. By far, 247-host was the best, most competitively priced. Hands down! However, I always perform background checks, visited the BBB bureau in Canada, and called the tech support. Their phone number was busy and I got a 'canned' message (I knew that after calling several times) within 3 hours. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was 4-6 calls within one day over 3-4 hours time span. However, price was such a big factor I think I overlooked this. This pattern continued for several weeks. I also had numerous problems with billing issues. I received a notice via email that my acct was about to be terminated if I did not remit a 4 month payment. I had signed up for automatic billing; however, they changed billing companies and apparently failed to update their records or even notify me to go to new billing manager and update my details. How did I find out? My site was down for ~ 1-2 weeks and I was attempting to call the support center who was never there. Finally, an online chat rep stated that my account has not been paid. That is how I found out why my site was down. Thanks a lot! I took the liberty to ask the chat host why there was nobody to accept my calls, no reps to chat with or why nobody was answering my support tickets or respond to my emails! His answer was "...we take were away from the office down at the data center..." So, they rotate! 2 hours at the call center and then down to the data center and vice versa. Then this IS NOT 24 hour support, Sir! This confirms my hunches, experiences and my trials. They do not infer trust or confidence in their billing department or their support and technical center. With my site down all the time, nor do I put much faith in the data center. I signed up for one of those web site monitoring service. I could not get over the amount of 'errors detected' messaged rec'd in my email inbox. I called them to confront them and they denied everything. I wanted a Canadian webhost. However, the more I researched them the more I realized that the Toronto office felt like a front. I was getting information from New Zealand of all places. I got this: 247-host.com IP Addresses: 70.86.113.42 IP Country: United States Of America United States Of America Reverse IP Lookup: IP hosts 244 domains Hosting Company Name: ICANN Registrar: ENOM, INC. I followed my gut and DID NOT prepay for the $1.99/month hosting fee, which sounds great, but if things do not work out, you WILL lose money. Remember the old saying, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!" 247-host was helpful in my account set up and resolving issues as these arise. Linux is pretty stable platform and unless one plays too much with it, there are rarely issues. I find 247-host are responsive as well as polite and friendly. Cpanel coupled with fantastico, rv skin and web builder they have makes things pretty interesting and simpler. One has all the features one can think and yet the cost ... well this hosting company offer very competitive cost more so with the services one gets. I find 247-host are good.

When I first started with the host it was very good, it's budget hosting so I did expect some problems and some downtime. Let's be reasonable here, their a low cost host. The server I was on became Very poor, most days I have to email to get my site up because it goes down overnight because of abuse on the server, either spam or just plain abuse because of over selling or new users. They are cheap so they attract all the crap sites and spammers. They also allow porn and that invites abuse by the users. They knew what they are doing and are sharp. One of the things which matter a lot in reseller hosting is that the back end service provider should be sharp in response as I was relying on him to react to my customers support issues. i am hosting my web hosting directory with 247 host and as one could be I was unsure whether they would be good enough for my site at such a low prices on packages and whether there customer support and tech support would be any good due price been so low but now I am happy to have joined them. The bandwidth provided by 247 host is good for site and uptime is prefect that my site visitors do not have to turn back. They should call themselves "247 Toast Host" because if you ever need service - you're toast. This Feb 2008 they moved our domain to a 'new server' (ha ha) and we were down for -3- days because they goofed up the 'A' records. This 'new Appache server' was established in 2005, the root hard drive was listed 83% at capacity (over selling). Even though we paid 6 mos in advance, we dumped them, and took the $$$ loss. 247-host is run by 2 Indian Exchange Students; "Victor" and girlfriend Julie. They run their business from a "Private Mail Box" and use a 'follow me answering service (877-791-3474) to forward Sales calls to their cell, THERE IS NO TECH SUPPORT PERIOD. Call the number to verify for yourself. The whois record, is a 'Hidden Account' .Domains that hide their identities are SCAM ARTISTS. My new host WHOIS list their name, street address and phone & we verified it. === Proceed with Caution === Don't make our mistake and let price be a judgement factor.

I totally and completely agree with the review of the person above me. 247 Host is terrible! I purchased a reseller package from them recently and already, my site has been down for 3 times and everytime it has been for days on end. When I write tech support and ask why my site is down & when it will be back up, I always get the same reply, "there was a problem with the server and we had to do an OS reload, yoour site should be back up in running in 6 hours." Well, 6 hours always turns into days and presently it's going on a week and still, my site is not back up and running. They ahve a support contact numbber but you can never talk to anyone there. I'll never use 247 Host ever again. I run a business from my site and have lost customers due to 247 Host! ~Tracy~

I have NEVER experienced customer service this BAD before in all my years online and in person. Their servers are ALWAYS crashing (2xs a week or more), they always give the same reasoning why stating "there was an error on this server and we had to do an OS reboot". They offer no courtesies for their constant mishaps, no refunds, NOTHING but a simple "wait it out" from their hosting staff. No way of getting a hold of them by phone, they never return any calls even if you leave a detailed message like it states, everything is thru email and if your lucky enough to get a response in time, they give you the same explanation or they just tell you to "wait it out, hopefully it will be fixed soon." Even after the fact....STILL the same problems no less than 48 hrs later occur yet again. Whenever they fix the problem at hand 24hrs + later, they mess up something else wether it be email access, ftp access, etc. I usually got lucky when a week went by and nothing faulty happened on their end. Their online support is UTTERLY rude and one in particular by the name of Shaun is lucky enough to be employed with his attitude. They never give any detail explanations and are quick to leave you in the midst of typing in a question while using their online support. They also tried putting the blame on me when their servers crashed again saying the reason my site was down is because I didnt pay.......when they blatantly took the money out of my account when made the payment. It is obvious that there is some sort of "upgrade scam" going on with them as well because many customers with the basic accounts go thru these similar problems more so and they run into 2 lesser problems out of the the 20 they have already if you upgrade to a premium account. 247-HOST IS ABSOLUTELY HORRID AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE!!! I recommend anyone with them to leave now before they experience the same problems I had. I made sure to file a claim with my credit card company and the better business bureau for their shitty service. And its odd that the reviewers online here and on other sites applauding their service give hardly no explanation as to how good their service really is. It never goes beyond 25 words or very vague. Good to see the 247Host STAFF going the distance in looking out for each other....least by knowing that they care about something because it for DAMN sure wasn't this former paying customer. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! WORST HOST PROVIDER ON THE WEB HANDS DOWN!!!!!!
