CWH is a satisfactory host for companies not hosting Mission Critical applications. They DO NOT allow any server access (escorted or no) and their hardware has failed on us (both the rented server and their physical network) 5 times in a matter of 1.5 years...The latter one resulting in complete data loss and restoration required. They hang on to equipment far too long, trying to maximize return by leasing it beyond its normal lifespan. Level 1 services is fast and quick, but our Account Manager is incompetent and charged us for services that we no longer subscribed to for quite some time. Be careful with these guys...There are many, many better and cheaper providers out there. Reliability is terrible...Don't host Mission Critical Apps.

These guys are excellent. I have been host hopping for about 8 years and I have finally found a no frills web host with all the core features I need. The support is great. They are attentive and helpful. I did have have an issue late last year regarding a raid which blew out but the down time was minimal. Less than a night while the new hardware was installed. All in all... I have never been happier with a host and I have been through quite a few. Recommended for the do it yourself types who require real linux hosting. I run a few reseller accounts.

Canada Webhosting was OK, but then blam they switched their customer base over to Synergy Web hosting and the switchover was painful. We were down for a week or two and lost thousands in revenue. Now our hosting costs have gone up 4x and we are looking to move.

Canada Web Hosting used to be a terrific web host until they decided to restructure. With no notice they dissolved all their shared-hosting customers and sold them to another company who is so incompetent that they are unable to provide the even most basic support. In fact, even after cancellation and moving all of my clients to another host, they tried to bill each client for an entire year in advance. I am still trying to get them to refund my clients which is not going well at this point. Beware CANADA WEB HOSTING and definitely beware of the new company SYNERGY WEB SERVICES.........TERRIBLE!!!!
