I started with HostingPlex, which in turn merged with their other brands into HostMDS, which in turn got bought by Cirrus Hosting.

Their Telephone Support is non-existent. 24 hour support is beyond horrible. Only technical support but if you got billed for something you shouldn't have then good luck if it's the weekend.

Customer Support was good 11 years ago, it went down the toilet as it progressed.

I slowly transferred out most of my domains away from them. The transfer of the last two domains was official January 3 2018. Today January 4 I cancelled the hosting.

Their servers got hacked and spammy files got into the server my hosting is in then I get blamed for it, they disable all my hosting (which had many add-on domains). I have been around since March 2005 with them. Not causing anything. Good customer. Yet they disabled my hosting, NO WARNING. That is when I decided to transfer out and clicking that "cancel hosting" button felt so good.

AVOID CIRRUS HOSTING and whatever brands they have.

I don’t know why it did not take me longer to realize what these people are truly about. I stuck around for a year and a half hoping they would improve, but things just got worse.

Poor customer service, rude tech support and very unresponsive. An absolute nightmare. Arbitrary interruptions of service.

I never wrote reviews on internet, so please take this serious. I was reading those bad reviews and thought they maybe not true, and I want to have a try because I want to host my website in a Canadian company. End up, those bad reviews are totally true. Bad server, FTP very very slow, took 10-20 seconds to connect, they were trying to fix it for two days. Got DDos attack on the first day, all my website can not be accessed. They blame it was my website has been compromised I have never had such problem before. I immediately move all my websites to another hosting company which is very stable. I asked for cancellation and request a refund. They throw me their TOS and said I was not eligible for a refund and they can not do anything about that. I said it was their problem to make me leave, but they keep saying that their service is just like "No Exchange, No Refund" one dollar store stuff. By the way. I bought the $80/month package which was not cheap at all. If you have time and money to waste, go ahead and try. Otherwise STAY AWAY!

his has been the worst experience I have had buying anything, ever.

The signup process was about average. Once signed up though, you have to sign a form to authorize your credit card with a front and back photocopy of the card as well as your driver’s license.

Communication with sales was deplorable. I had to tell them on 3 occasions I was not going to fax copies of things to some company I don’t know for absolutely no reason. When asked to cancel they offered to waive the need for photo copies but still have not confirmed cancellation.

Not to mention a salesperson neglected to note the time zone difference, and called me early as hell to speak to me in an Indian accent I couldn’t understand. When I paused to try to figured out what he was saying (about .8 seconds, not bad considering I had just been sleeping) hey would start freaking out, “Hello? “HELLO?! ARE YOU THERE!”

Cirrus hosting has provided our Dental office with exceptional reliable technical support. Anyone I've spoke to on the phone from this business has been very courteous and dedicated staff members! If your looking for a reliable host that meets your business needs, look no further!

The price is great, Service is perfect, staffs' responses are both technical expressive with professional manner.

Also we utilized all the features of what they offered along with the hosting service.

I'll do other domains with them in future.

The owner of this company has a an explicit "blame the customer" way of doing business. There are no high-water mark warning - just a shut down.

The service also shuts down at random times.

Probably the worst customer experience I've ever had.

If you are going to have ASP.NET website you should forget this host company! They are not support most of the common modules and the customer services is absolutely a nightmare! Couple of times I was about to have heart attack due to a critical condition on my website and how my customers were disappointed! Undoubtedly, I will not renew the plan next year and will switch all my hosts and domains to a reputable firm in North America!

If you could write, "this company sucks" on every grain of sand in the desert, it would not be enough to describe the incompetence at Cirrus Hosting.

Hosting review sites across the internet are bloated with negative comments about this company. If you're looking for hosting, you'd be well advised to stay away.

As one guy pointed out below, "their support is non-existent." That's right.

If you want to avoid a nightmare, consider Cirrus Hosting the toxic waste dump of the industry.

I wish someone had warned me.

You won't find a more dysfunctional, unprofessional, work-avoiding staff anywhere.

Truly a disaster.

Hosted my site with their VPS plan for almost 4 years. The first 2 years are ok. Only issue are the time seems easy to out of sync.

But the last half year, the server needs to be restarted daily to make sure working correctly. The even can not move my VPS to another node because I'm in "old plan". Tend to charge me $350+ for migrate my server to their "new plan".

So, bye bye, I moved to godaddy. Everything back to normal.

This host has billing on autopilot except for accepting payment. What this meant to me was that when my payment didn't go through the other day, I didn't get notice until my two day grace period was up and 30 customer websites went down, and me without access to any part of the system (source or dbs). Oh and did I mention that it went down by a cron job in the middle of the night on a weekend. When they have no billing staff in until Monday. Their "24 hour support" was unable to assist.

The support at Cirrus is pretty much non-existent. Every issue I have had they try to blame me and tell me I do not know how to manage a server correctly. I have a VPS. In the end the issue turns out to be their problem. I will be moving my sites away from them shortly.

We recently switched over to cirrus and surprisingly after years of disappointment with number of hosting providers out there, we are confident that we have found what we have been looking for. Great support, great response time.

We have had the same issue as others with the "blame the customer", and even "well no one else on the server is complaining".

Juvenile support service, switched from another more pricey provider but was top notch support. we never had this many calls from clients in ten years and only since switching to these guys.

Terrible, terrible customer support. I've also experienced several `blame the customer' scenarios, even after teaching their `technical manager' a thing or two about an email server. Woeful reliability as well, and as of right now the control panel login is broken. Do not recommend this host to anyone.

The reliability and support is quite poor. They do not have enough knowledge about the vps platform and plesk, so they go the "blame the client" route.

Very poor value for service. When I signed up I was guaranteed 24/7 phone support which was the first of many times I was lied to by them.

I needed to find a new host for my SFTP site. When I asked WebServe to block Browser access to my SFTP site they also blocked SFTP access. When I requested that they return my service to what I had before the request they claimed that they did not support it (I had been using it for over 18 months).

I turned to Cirrus.

They had the SFTP site up and running in 3 days. Unfortunately, I lost my $200,000 contract with my client due misperformance for 2 weeks (I wasted 12 days with WebServe trying to get my orignal service back).

I wished I had gone with Cirrus in the first place. They had my site up and running quickly. Do not consider WebServe, they do not support their commitments and if fact they have billed me for a month of service they did not provide and after 3 requests to terminate have yet to acknowledge any of them!!

I’ve been with CirrusHosting for almost 2 years now, and I can honestly say they are very knowledge and one of the best hosting companies I know. Over the past two years my company needs grew and we migrated from bulk/shared hosting environment over to a dedicated server. In both hosting environments, CirrusHosting support has been second to none, and whenever we experience problems, they’ve sorted and fixed the issues promptly and without hassle. I feel that my web development company is getting excellent value for the money based on the hardware, software, and service offered. I would highly recommend them to both small business, and web professionals like myself.

I have been a customer for over a year now and I seem to have problems about once a month. Either my site is down, or my databases have a problem or some mystery error message starts appearing. Anyways it has been quite disruptive to my online business. Their saving grace is that they have been responsive to the problems when they happen.

Unfortunately these guys run by the "blame the customer" type support. They have lots of features for their VPS systems, but the upgrade during peak hours without notice and cause downtime.

I've asked for support twice about the VPS failing to restore and both times I was told it was my fault? This is a feature they advertise.

Finally, they deleted one of my backups and blamed me. Final straw.
