Network 11 LLC. Hosted with them since 2001 through Aug 2006. Service started slipping in late 2004 through mid-2006. Tried to cancel "paid-up" Reseller Account from Aug 2006 until now (July 2008). Wrote them emails, sent certified letters, left voice mails at the 888 #, filed a BBB complaint, all to no avail. The saving grace was that I was using a credit card through Bank of America/MBNA which came up for renewal. Since they couldn't get my current DOE, they couldn't charge my card. I get numerous system-generated emails about overdue bills from them. Just saving them before turning them over to the Oregon State Attorney's office. I don't know why companies don't do the right thing. This is a SUPERB SITE and keep it going, please!

DO NOT USE NETWORK ELEVEN!! The above notes on lack of service and support are true. If you're already using Net11, switch to another host (bluehost is amazing, by the way) and cancel your credit card. They will NOT stop charging you unless you take away their ability to do so. GOOD LUCK ALL!

I too tried to cancel my account with N11. In the past, I used N11 and it was fine. Now it appears to be defunct. Numerous BBB complaints. http://alaskaoregonwesternwashington.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=114&bbb=1296&firm=22034484 Network Eleven LLC 520 SW 6th Ave Ste 300 Portland, OR 97204 If you tried to cancel your account and failed, you may be able to dispute the charge. I did just that and the charge was immediately reversed.

I had my first website posted through N11's hosting service in 2003. The service was very good and dependable. I could get whatever attention the site needed with just an email. Never thought about calling anyone with a problem, because the email trouble tickets worked just fine. About 2005 things changed drastically. I could open a ticket, but could not get a response. I'm more gullable than the others reviewing this site, because I went for three years with no response to my trouble tickets. They were all listed on the Tech Service page, but had never been assigned for a tech to review. I looked for phone numbers, but there were NONE on their site. I left email messages with all departments, but never got an answer, or any service. I moved my website to another host, and through an email, asked them to cancel my account, remove the credit card info from thier records, and notify me when that had been accomplished. Of course, I never heard from them until I got another notice that they had charged my card, again. You can jump up and down, get mad, and do anything you want, but they will not respond. We contacted the BBB, but they could not get a response, either. Then my wife contacted the Attorney General's office. Within a week, I got a message from Network Eleven, saying my tickets were cleared. That is true. Some of the old tickets were worked, and others were simply cancelled. Other, newer tickets remained, and I suppose they are still there. Network Eleven continues to charge my credit card. My sincere recommendation is that anyone considering service with Network Eleven, should not do so. The technical service, while Steven is competent, is not actually available, there is no way to contact anyone affilliated with the company except by email, which they will not answer, and they will continue to charge your credit card until you cancel the card. The best way to deal with Network Eleven is to avoid dealing with them at all.

Network Eleven has NEVER responded to any of our problems. You are unable to get a response from them either by email or phone; there voice message box was full. I have contacted the BBB in Portland about them and the BBB enquiries were not responded to. As of today we are unable to remove our credit card information that they are charging monthly and we have moved our web hosting to another provider. Would not recommend them.

Network Eleven is pure evil. I've been trying to cancel my account since Nov 2006. I've opened many support tickets, sent many, many emails, and left several voicemails - noone has ever responded. I contacted the Oregon Better Business Bureau but the BBB got no response from them - what a surprise. I got my credit card company to refuse the monthy charges so now I get a "late payment" email from N11 almost every day. Thanks for the Oregon Department of Justice link. Finally - a glimmer of hope in getting ANY response from N11. Anyone up for a class action lawsuit?

As others have stated, there is no way to contact them or cancel your account. I have been autobilled for an extra year I didn't want. Following the advice given in other reviews I cancelled the credit card and changed the billing info as well. I hope that gets rid of them.

Like others, I have a network 11 account that's being ignored. I signed up in 2003, had great service, no billing problems, but when I decided to pare back my hosting, there was no support. That was Sept 2006, and since then I've sent numerous emails to cancel, and have an open ticket for 9 months, with a 2 month old follow up by me, asking how to contract to cancel. I just sent another email out, and I refuse to pay their hosting bill because of the shady dealing they seem to be doing. You've better off with something as simple as simplyfreespeech.net, or Godaddy, or anyone but these people.

I have several sites set up on Network Eleven, and they used to be an OK and stable host, but no longer. Some of the binaries that my clients depend on have apparently disappeared, and SUPPORT DOES NOT EXIST! I have moved most of my clients sites to GoDaddy (dense and annoying interface, sophomoric ads - but great support), but the bozos are still attempting to charge for sites that haven't been used in almost a year. Trying to cancel hosting is impossible, there is no mechanisim to do so, and SUPPORT DOES NOT EXIST! Anyone with Net11 just needs to change the credit card info to something useless, and then set up an email filter to block the annoying overdue billing notices.

Maybe the DOJ is finally getting to Network Eleven. I got an email from Steven out of the blue apologizing "for the delay" in getting back to me (even though I demanded cancellation in January and spooked my credit card # after that to avoid charges). He said that since I was billed in January he would send me a money order for the amount. I'll hold my breath, but I did give him my email address just in case.

I have been trying to cancel my account for months. Only voicemail available (with mailboxes that are full) and never a response to my repeated emails. Their credit card billing system works flawlessly however... If you're stuck with Network Eleven like the rest of us I suggest you visit the Oregon Department of Justice at: http://www.doj.state.or.us/finfraud/concompform.shtml This is apparently the only way to get away from these crooks. If you're *NOT* hosting at Network Eleven - RUN!

Ditto to Shel's comments. I'd opened up support tickets 9 months ago and never got a resolution. I finally moved my domain elsewhere and had to cancel my credit card to stop them from charging it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I signed up with Network Eleven a couple of years ago when they offered me exactly what I needed at a price I found reasonable. However, I've since moved on in terms of technologies that Network Eleven do not offer, and requests via their "support" ticket system have gone completely unanswered for almost a year now. Like others, I have submitted tickets, emailed the billing, sales and legal department about cancelling my account with them, but there has been absolutely no response. Every month like clockwork they debit my visa card, and attempts to destroy my CC information on their billing site has yet to take hold. There's no phone number for you to call, not even listed in the Yellow Pages. If I was being charged more, I would probably be more proactive in pursuing them about cancellation, but I've been busy on my new host settings things up and I've let it slide. I'm at the point now that I'm going to have to file charge disputes with my bank over their continual debits, and possibly call the Portland PD to see what my options are to get them to just stop. To be fair, their servers and services are rock solid, and right now, you could probably get away with doing all kinds of CPU/Memory eating antics and they probably wouldn't notice. That is, if you really wanted to sign up and give them your credit card number. Really, truly, do NOT sign up with whoever these people are. They're technically in the legal clear, because they're still providing the service paid for, even though the service is unwanted.

I have been with Network Eleven since 2003. No problems. Then, I recommended their hosting for two of my clients. The last one was approved. No further info was provided so the hosting could be set up. It has been nearly a month and many open tickets with no response. I have emailed every department numerous times with no response whatsoever. Now I am emailing their legal department.

They were fine at first, responsive. But around late March/early April, it's like the staff never came back from a weekend. Couple of support tickets went unanswered and after getting frustrated I switched my sites to another host. Unfortunately, N11's responses to my cancellation requests were just like the responses to my support requests - NONEXISTANT. I had to log into my account and fudge my CC info to get their automatic system to stop billing me. It's now October and I'm STILL getting overdue billing notices from them. DO NOT under any circumstances sign up with Network Eleven. There are no people there because if there were, they'd be responding to support requests.

Uptime was great, but trying to get support is like pulling teeth. There is still a trouble ticket on my account that has been sitting there for a year unanswered, and if you ever need to cancel? Forget it. The project that I needed the hosting for ended, and I have been trying for four months to cancel the hosting. All emails and phonecalls go unanswered and unreturned, yet they can send billing and overdue notices out like clockwork. They're not worth the hassle of trying to get anything accomplished, and I would suggest going ANYWHERE else.
